Titan Services NQ began operations in 1977 as T.J. and D.P. Locke Electrical as a small family run business. Tyron Aitkenhead the Company Director began work as an apprentice with T.J. and D.P. Locke Electrical in 1998 and became a qualified Tradesperson in 2002.
The business has trained many apprentices during its tenure, many who have gone on to run their own successful Electrical businesses.
In 2011 after working for the business full-time for 13 years, Tyron purchased the business outright and renamed the business to Locke Electrical created as a Pty Ltd Company. The business expanded to employ 10 employees and more than doubled the annual turnover by 2013.
The intention at that time was to change the trading name, this was put on hold due to business growth and the excellent reputation it currently maintained within the local community. Locke Electrical Pty Ltd has since seen a change of trading name in 2021 to Titan Services NQ and currently employs 15 staff and encompasses electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration works with a high focus on Building services management, Mechanical & Electrical services within the commercial and industrial market of North Queensland.
